This ancient science of astrology dates back to the pre Vedic era and was propounded by the Rishis and Maha Rishis belonging to those times. Primary amongst them were Agastya Muni, Vashishta and Brhighu Rishi, who were amongst the seven sages, the first disciples of Lord Shiva. Unlike the other branches of astrology, like Samhita and Hora, which totally depend on the interpretation of the astrologer, Nadi Astrology is a system of astrology which has predetermined predictions made by the sages for each individual depending on the time of the individual's birth.
These predictions were written down on Nadi leaves by the Rishis thousands of years ago. So each individual has a particular Nadi leaf ascribed to him/her which contains a set of predictions especially pertaining to the individual for that period of his/her life. The individual's name, parentage, number of siblings, time of birth, etc are all already mentioned in the leaf along with the problem/s faced by the individual at that particular time. A set of remedies generally called Shanti and Diksha as prescribed by the Rishi are recommended for elevating the individual from the problems.
These problems can pertain to health, marriage, finance, children, education, enemies and all other hardships faced by man in the course of a lifetime. This is a time tested branch of astrology which has helped people overcome various hardships and find relief in times of distress. The credibility of the system lies in the fact that the predictions and remedies have been prescribed by the Rishis themselves and are not subject to errors made by astrologers whilst making predictions.
